Explore David ‘LEBO’ Le Batard’s collaborations and commissioned artwork.
In 2003, David “LEBO” Le Batard received global recognition in his work commissioned by the committee for the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences creating the artwork for the Latin Grammy Awards, the world’s premier Latin music awards ceremony. 2003 also afforded LEBO the opportunity to work with Ralph Pucci International fusing art, fashion and fiberglass for a series of children’s mannequins for Macy’s and the Trend Group in 2005, a globally recognized design leader in the mosaic tile Industry. The Italian base company utilized LEBO’s abstract artistic skills in a series titled “Paradise Fond: The Color, Shape and Sound.”
Some of LEBO’s highlights include serving as the artistic director of the Langerado Music Festival during 2004 thru 2008. This artistic venue consisted of multiple stages featuring music of the jam-band generation and exhibits of artisans and craftsman. His accomplishments also include over a decade of privately and publicly sponsored mural painting in locations across the country, and having his individual works added to permanent collections owned by major corporations.
In 2009, LEBO Studios expanded their reach beyond the traditional Miami arts scene and into the homes of children, ages 4-8 through an online animated series First Lessons brought to life in the form of art and music.
