The “Three Steps Towards Heaven” series is a rare opportunity for art and music lovers to experience a more intimate side of LEBO and what he likes to call, “painting as performance,” at Miami’s top live music venue.
During a LEBO Live! performance, the artist works in tandem with a video performance artist (VJ) to captivate the audience with a thoughtfully created musical playlist. The VJ synchronizes the music to LEBO’s video on a large projection screen. Simultaneously, he unifies the aural and visual experience by creating continuous compositions on canvas.
