Bombs Over San Francisco

Located in San Francisco’s popular French Quarter and right next to the Chinatown gate is the Hotel des Arts. As one of San Francisco’s most bohemian hotels it also holds the unique distinction of having each of it’s rooms painted by a different award winning artist.  Shepard Fairy, David Choe, Dave Kinsey, Sam Flores along with a roster of exceptional talent have all lent their expertise to make this one of the most creative environments to stay in while visiting the city by the bay.

LEBO was flattered to be commissioned to create a mural for the exterior wall of this building. Continuing in his “Fat Boy and the Holy Trinity” series, he graced the 50 foot facade with a floating figure attached to a suspended atomic bomb with a heart stretching across the middle. Aside from being an honor to have his work alongside such an impressive array of artists, his mural now stands as a landmark destination in the heart of this historically creative city.
